What tests need to be done on a caravan?

Every caravan must have a gas test yearly by a corgi registered plumber. Most sites will also get the caravan electrically tested to make sure all the fixed appliances apply to current standards.

Do I need a corgi test?

If the caravan is goig to be using any gas appliances you will need a corgi test every year by a qualified plumber

How often do I have to have a corgi test?

Corgi tests are only valid for a year from when they were issued so they need to be done every year.

Do caravans need a certain number of exit routes?

Yes all caravans should have two exit routes out of the caravan in case of a fire. Most will have a door at either end of the caravan, and some others will have a single door and a large exit window at the other end.

What ventilation do caravans need?

Part of a corgi gas test is to check whether ventilation ducts / grills are not blocked or covered in any way. If a caravan has a ventilation grill it must not be obscured in any way.
